| SINGAPORE PRESS: April Job Ads Up 50% On Year
SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)--The volume of newspaper job advertisements jumped 50% on year in April in the strongest growth in more than two years, Business Times reports. Citing data compiled by Singapore Press Holdings Ltd. (S37.SG), which owns almost every local newspaper on the island, Business Times says advertisement volume grew across all job sectors last month. The increase marked the fifth consecutive month of overall growth, following nine months of contraction. Taking the lead was advertising for services jobs with a jump of 58% on year, says Business Times, which is part of the SPH stable. www.asia1.com.sg |
